The Frozen Nile have
been collaborating with Birmingham, UK, based performance poet, Zaza Murray,
and performed on this date at the Uber Cabaret at The Custard Factory Theatre
Space, one of Birmingham's leading alternative venues. The event was beset with
organisational difficulties and interesting sound quality, but the Nile
received a great response and Zaza but on a stunning visual and vocal
performance. After the gig the band were described by one dazed onlooker as
"somewhere between Popol Vuh and Sonic Youth"...hmmmm... |
