| Welcome to the official website of The Frozen Nile. We are an experimental band based in Stourbridge, U.K. formed in 2004 by former members of Klangstorm. We are influenced by a wide range of music, from early blues through to Krautrock bands like Amon Duul 2, Can, Faust & Kraftwerk, as well as various elements from the New York Scene over the last 40 years. The minimalist drones of La Monte Young, Tony Conrad and John Cale, The Velvet Underground, No Wave and Sonic Youth are all in there. We call our sound "Lost Wave Music".
