Offa's Pots
(subtitled Marcher Musick) was the second sound installation piece to be
released during 2001, this on being produced for the Knighton Arts Festival in
July of that year, and once again includes a contribution from Viv
Jones.
Knighton is a small town on
the Welsh/English border, a region known as The Marches, (hence the sub-title),
which is overlooked by Offa's Dyke, a boudary built between the two countries
in the 8th Century A.D. by King Offa of Mercia. |
